This wānanga fono dedicates space and time to strengthen and support Māori and Pasifika educators who work across the foundation sector and/or specifically with literacy and numeracy development.

At the end of the hui, when participants leave the special space that we will have been created, we hope they will take with them an increased sense of:

- Belief –a stronger belief in their own capabilities and potential as tuakana/leader roles.
- Knowing – reaffirmed knowledge and new information as a Community of Praxis performing at our very best so that our learners get the very best.
