The Ngati Pahauwera Tiaki Trust was established on 27 September 2008, more than 2 years prior to the signing of Ngāti Pāhauwera’s Deed of Settlement and almost twelve 12 years ago. Nominations have now closed for the 2020 Trustee election for the Ngāti Pāhauwera Development Trust. Nominations for the 4 available positions have been received from: Aranui Cheyenne Keefe Tom King Andrea K. Lambert Charles Putaranui Doug Storey Siobhan Thornton Theresa Tomoana Amiria As there were more nominations received than vacancies, an election will be held by postal and internet voting to confirm the Trustees required.
The Ngāti Pāhauwera Development Trust (the Trust) is the entity created to receive and manage the Treaty of Waitangi settlement redress on behalf of Ngāti Pāhauwera. The trust is governed by 7 trustees. Under the terms of the trust deed four of those trustees must retire later this year. Nominations are now called to fill the four vacancies on the Trust.
