Chief Executive Officer
Robin is the Chief Executive Officer for Ngāti Pāhauwera Development Trust (NPDT). Robin has worked in senior management positions within the public sector, Maori non-government organisations and the private sector. He has high levels of competency demonstrated in the success within past roles and continues to deliver sustainable value outcomes to improve the quality of life for whānau members and communities within the wider region. He brings strengths to the organisation in the areas of mātauranga Māori, Education, Commerce, Administration, Health, Fisheries and Environmental/ Resource Management. Robin has excellent networks at a whanau, marae/ hapū level extending to the wider Māori world. He also maintains good relationships within an extensive public service network.
Corporate Services Manager
Kane has been the Corporate Services Manager for NPDT since 2013. Kane’s role covers multiple disciplines including finance, HR, Payroll and IT. It is a role that provides high-level administrative and operational support, research and advice to senior management and administrative matters including staff management, financial management and information services.
Kane has previously worked in various administration and management roles over the past 13 years within The Warehouse Group, Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga and currently Ngāti Pāhauwera Development Trust (NPDT).
Project Manager (Takutai Moana)
Bonny Hatami (nee Waaka) is the Project Manager for the Ngāti Pāhauwera Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act Applications. She felt very lucky to be able to come back to Hawkes Bay and work for the iwi. Bonny is passionate about the environment and has worked on all environmental and many other kaupapa of the Trust including the River Restoration project, the Putere Lakes project, 8 months for the Commercial arm of the Trust, communication and an Agribusiness contract via MPI. Prior to NPDT she worked for Auaha Events in Wellington, delivering private, corporate and public event and conference contracts, her biggest clients being the Ministry of Education and the IPANZ Public Sector Awards. Bonny has a tourism background having worked for the whanau businesses and living and working in Japan and America. She has an MBA from Massey University and BA from Auckland University.
Administrator – Wairoa
I work as an administrator at the Ngāti Pāhauwera Development Trust office in Wairoa. I have worked for the Trust in this position since 2009. I live in Mohaka with my partner and 2 children whom both attend Mohaka School. I have 4 children with my 2 older sons living in Sydney, Australia. I am a past and present Trustee for the Mohaka School Board of Trustees. I am heavily involved in all school activities and any other functions and/or activities that may happen at the Waipapa-a-iwi Mohaka Marae.
El Maadi Te Aho
Administrator – Wairoa
My name is El Maadi Te Aho born in Wellington and brought up by my grandparents Susie Tumataroa and Ku Te Aho at Waihua Beach Road. I am the only child of Calipa-Crete Te Aho. I attended Waihua Primary School and Wairoa College. I moved away when I finished college but a year later returned to take care of my nana who suffered a stroke. I cared for her for four years until her passing. My partner whakapapa back to Te Maara A Ngata marae Kahungunu and we have three beautiful children who attend Te Kura o Mohaka and one now attending her second year at Wairoa College. I first started working for the Ngāti Pāhauwera Development Trust October 2014 supporting the Education Ukaipo project holding marae wananga and also the Rangatahi Forums. I am now supporting the Wairoa office as admin staff working on the database.
Finance & Adminstration Support – Napier
While at EIT doing business and administration study Terri-Lee volunteered at NPDT. She finished her studies and became the Finance & Admin Support person in the Napier office.
