Seeking an experienced Orchard Manager
Seeking an experienced Orchard Manager to join our organisation, Ngāti Pāhauwera Commercial Development Limited (NPCDL).
The successful candidate will lead our NPCDL Hort team to both manage our existing development and lead our new development in Raupunga. NPCDL Hort includes an existing 55 hectares pipfruit development (Pākuratahu Orchard, Whirinaki) and a new development opportunity in Raupunga (a 60 hectare site to include a pipfruit development).
Our existing orchard includes varieties are in the fourth year of growth. NPCDL Hort grows varieties including Rockit, Tarzi, Dazzle, Envy, Galaxy and Jugala. Our horticulture portfolio includes other crops of citrus and olives. The role is to include the day-to-day operation of a modern 2D orchard including leading the management and development of staff.
